Sateraito Office
Presentation Title Digitize business operations with cloud services and add-on tools
Offering Versatile Security Products and Know-How Cultivated from Working with Over 60,000 Companies
Nobuo Konnai
Solution Division Customer success Manager,
Sateraito Office
Nobuo Konnai of Sateraito Office presented four security products.
The first was Cisco Umbrella, a secure internet gateway that offers protection using DNS. It prevents users and devices from accessing unknown phishing and malware sites by modifying DNS using proprietary DNS servers configured in the cloud. According to Konnai, the system is “easy and quick to deploy,” “inexpensive to operate,” and “capable of containing new kinds of malware, even if they breach your system.”
The second product is TiFRONT, a security switch that manages Layer 2 (L2) switches in the cloud. By detecting attacks and blocking traffic, it “prevents proliferation,” even in devices that have been exposed to attack. Centralized management of multiple L2 switches is also possible, using TiController, a cloud-based management service.
The third product is a personal information data monitoring service, PCFILTER. It works by performing high-speed searches of PCs and file servers to find files containing various types of personal information. It is also capable of detecting, quarantining, deleting and encrypting files. To protect against information leaks, it includes functions to prevent email forwarding, web uploading, copying to USB memory devices and printing.
Fourthly, Konnai presented a prevention training service that sends training emails simulating targeted attacks to the employees of an organization to help them learn how to respond. There are three main functions, “target management,” “sending emails,” and “result confirmation.” The key point about this service is that it is easy to start taking security measures without expert knowledge.
Konnai ended his presentation by summarizing the strengths of Sateraito Office: “know-how cultivated from experiences with over 60,000 companies,” “availability of business templates and add-on applications,” “development (customization) technology based on Google App Engine and APIs,” and “a speedy support system staffed by our own specialists.”
